Malay Day 07 Facts:
In honor and loving memory of one of the best snowboarders to ride the mountains of Colorado, Vail Mountain proudly hosts “Malay Dayâ€, Thursday April 5th, 2007. Josh Malay was a Vail team rider who lost his life while snowboarding in the mountains of Spain. His memory remains an inspiration to ‘live and love life’. Malay Day keeps Josh alive in our hearts and on Vail Mountain.
This upcoming April will mark the launch European leg of the DC Shoes x Methamphibian Artist Project. There are three shows planned for Europe (check the flyer for details) in which each show will contain all new artwork, as well as numerous other items such as:
- DC X Methamphibian General Colorway sneakers will again be restocked in very limited quantities.
- DC X Methamphibian M65 Jacket
- Spring/Summer 2007 new t-shirts
- New Custom Dunk designs
- New Custom Vans designs
- New Custom Chuck Taylor designs
The current DC x Methamphibian website is down for revamping, but expect a May relaunch.
The North Face have just released some new coats for spring. On the surface they surely do not reassemble the North Face you are probably accustomed too, however these Japanese Purple Label branded jackets have all the technical innovations that have made TNF such a mainstay in many facets of life, street wear included. The beauty of these featured jackets are the inclusion of a cotton membrane to further enhance the breathability factor of Gore-tex and to create a more comfortable wear.

Chairlift Revue theatre event begins production
WHISTLER, BC, March 26 2007 - In the quest for the ultimate Whistler icon, one humble player is often overlooked.
The chairlift.
Doing double duty as teleporter, couch, and decompression chamber, the chairlift is the thing our lives (or at least our laps) revolve around.
And in a new twist for the TELUS World Ski and Snowboard Festival, the humble chairlift takes on a new role : theatre set.
NEW to TWSSF12, the Chairlift Revue marks the revival of a Whistler live-theatre original, in the born-again repertory Rainbow Theatre on Monday April 16.
Brought to TWSSF by Whistler trickster G.D. Maxwell, the Chairlift Revue promises an evening of original live theatre centred around conversations on a chairlift.
Gravis and XLarge Japan got together to create some bags - to be more precise a backpack and a pouch actually. The two bags come with a safari pattern in a very unlikely safari colorways though - green and red.
