Burton is trying to switch things up on everyone. Most outerwear companies have tried denim before, but they usually end up with some weird, shiny material that looks like denim. But Burton went a step further and is using real Denim with a Gore-Tex treatment. So for about $599 for the jacket and $499 for the pants, you can look like a gaper who has no clue that denim adsorbs water and snow is made of water.
If you haven’t heard by now Danny Kass has been making some moves in the off season. First he got on board with Oakley, now he left Vans and is the first to sign on with Nike. Nike has changed the game with it’s SB program, are we going to see the same thing happen in snowboarding? Hopefully they use some of their crazy R&D to come out with some crazy new boots or we could just see a snowboard version of the dunk in every color imaginable. Only time will tell….
